Residents of Hill Station, particularly those living around the Limkokwing University area, have expressed frustration over a prolonged power outage that has left the community in darkness since Wednesday.

According to affected residents, the blackout has persisted for four days despite several attempts to reach officials of the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA). They claim that no concrete steps have been taken to restore electricity to the area.

“We have been without power for days now, and it’s affecting our daily activities,” one resident lamented. “We’ve contacted EDSA through various means, but nothing has been done so far.”

The outage has reportedly disrupted businesses, households, and other activities around the community, forcing many to rely on generators and solar lamps. Residents are therefore calling on EDSA management to urgently intervene and restore power supply to the affected community.

Many have emphasized that such extended blackouts are becoming frequent in the area, urging the authorities to find a solution to the problem.
