Mrs. Turay, popularly known as Hawawa, is truly a woman worth celebrating. With over two decades in the entertainment industry, she has been a trailblazer, breaking barriers and paving the way for countless others. She made history as Sierra Leone’s first representative to Miss Universe, an achievement that showcased her country’s beauty and talent on an international stage. Today, she stands as the CEO of Ecofest Music Festival, a platform that unites Africa’s biggest music superstars in a grand celebration of talent and culture. Her contributions extend beyond entertainment, as she is also the founder of Hawawa Model Management & Image Consultancy and the proud owner of Hawawa Boutique. Through her dedication and generosity, she continues to be a source of inspiration and empowerment to many.

Hawawa etched her name in history as Sierra Leone’s first representative to the prestigious Miss Universe pageant. Her pioneering journey to the global stage paved the way for many young women in Sierra Leone who now see the possibility of reaching international platforms.
