Speaking at the event, Mrs. Turay praised Leone Ushering & Events for introducing such a brilliant idea to Sierra Leone’s events landscape. She highlighted the importance of creating a space for dialogue where ushers and event professionals can share experiences, learn from one another, and raise the bar for service delivery in the sector.

“I am truly honored to have been part of this milestone initiative,” Mrs. Turay said. “What Leone Ushering & Events has done is not just about organizing a program. It is about inspiring a new vision for the industry and helping young people realize that ushering is a profession that requires discipline, etiquette, and a deep sense of hospitality.”

She extended special congratulations to the founder of Leone Ushering & Events, Ms. Maa Seray, for her innovation and determination in making the dialogue a reality. According to Mrs. Turay, Ms. Seray’s leadership has introduced a fresh wave of professionalism and creativity that will positively influence the industry for years to come.

The dialogue featured panel discussions, experience-sharing sessions, and motivational talks from seasoned professionals. Mrs. Turay, who was among the keynote speakers, shared valuable insights on personal branding, professional conduct, and the importance of confidence in service delivery. She noted that ushering is often the first point of contact at any event, making ushers key ambassadors of hospitality.

“The role of an usher is not just to guide guests,” she explained. “It is about creating a welcoming atmosphere, projecting the image of the event, and ensuring that people leave with a positive impression. That is why professionalism must be at the heart of everything.”

Participants described the event as a turning point, emphasizing that it gave ushers a sense of pride in their work and opened new possibilities for growth and recognition. For Mrs. Turay, the energy and passion of the young participants were proof that ushering in Sierra Leone has a bright future.

As CEO of Hawawa Modelling Management, Mrs. Turay reaffirmed her commitment to continue mentoring young people in the areas of modeling, ushering, and etiquette training. She emphasized that initiatives like the Annual Team Dialogue are crucial in unlocking opportunities and building sustainable careers for young Sierra Leoneans.

The event concluded with renewed enthusiasm from participants and a shared commitment to uphold the values of excellence, courtesy, and professionalism in ushering. With the success of its first edition, Leone Ushering & Events has set a strong foundation for what promises to be an annual tradition of growth and inspiration.
