His detractors have tried every strategy known to the Machiavellian philosophy to bring down the Leader of the All People’s Congress (APC) in Parliament, Hon. Chernor Maju Bah aka “Chericoco”, but they are yet to succeed.Luckily, they have never accused him of corruption, arrogance, or ineptitude. All what they have been doing is to cook-up tall stories to make him look bad. But all those attacks, aimed at tarnishing his reputation, have not stuck as the Leader of the APC in Parliament is unruffled by those attacks.
And their latest attack is to impersonate Hon. Chernor Maju Bah aka “Chericoco” by doctoring a tweet to present him as a bellicose person or a provocateur. But the Leader of the APC in Parliament told The Nationalist newspaper yesterday that the tweet being shared on social media, bearing his picture and calling for a demonstration against the PR system on 10 December 2022, was fake and that his last official tweet was on 21 October 2022.
Hon. Chernor Maju Bah aka “Chericoco” noted that: “People should know I always follow proper procedures…that is not me.”
Thousands of Sierra Leone who know Hon. “Chericoco” have dismissed the tweet as the “handiwork of his detractors”.
