In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, the Coco Ladies on Saturday, 14th March 2026, presented a special Ramadan gesture (Sunakati) to Hon. Chericoco at his residence in Regent, Freetown. The presentation was a symbolic gesture of appreciation and solidarity, reflecting the strong bond between the Coco Ladies and the respected political leader.
During the visit, the delegation presented several items including one full jerrican of palm oil, fowls, a variety of fresh fruits, and a giant “Ramadan Kareem” frame as a mark of honour and goodwill.
Speaking on behalf of the Coco Ladies, the National CEO, Mrs. Mam-K Special, expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Chericoco for his consistent commitment to the grassroots, the APC Party, and his uncompromising support for ordinary people across Sierra Leone. She described Hon. Chericoco as a true grassroots leader whose humility, accessibility, dedication, and service to the APC Party and Sierra Leone continue to inspire many supporters, especially women and young people.
Mrs. Mam-K Special further noted that the presentation of the Ramadan gesture (Sunakati) was one of the ways the Coco Ladies chose to show appreciation and stand in solidarity with Hon. Chericoco during this sacred month of prayer, reflection, and generosity.
Receiving the items, Hon. Chericoco thanked the Coco Ladies for their thoughtful gesture and kind support. He commended them for their unity, loyalty, and continued efforts in promoting togetherness and positive engagement within the political family and Team Coco.
The brief but meaningful ceremony ended with prayers for Hon. Chericoco, the Coco Ladies, unity within the APC Party, and continued blessings for the country and Team Coco.
