Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Member of Parliament representing Constituency 097, Hon. Edward George has in the wake of the ongoing voter registration donated One Hundred Million Leones (Le100, 000,000 four new motorbikes and fifty megaphones to the party’s executives at Lower and Upper Banta in Dasse Chiefdom Moyamba district.The ceremony which took place in Mokanji, attracted party stakeholders and traditional leaders.
Making a statement, at the presentation of the facilitation items, Hon. George profusely thanked the SLPP Moyamba district executives for working assiduously towards promoting the interest of the party, and encouraged them embark on robust voter registration to put President Julius Maada Bio back to Power.
Hon. George said the logistical support aimed at facilitating the registration process in the entire district is being done out of his good will gestures to boost the efficiency of voter registration and the collective efforts party executives to raise awareness on the ongoing process. He thus appealed to the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.
“Our greatest assignment now is to ensure a landslide victory for President Bio and this can be harnessed better if we register in our Chinese numbers,” appealed Hon. Edward George.
Chairman for the ceremony, Hon. Edward Suluko (SOLUTION) on behalf of the SLPP Regional and District executives expressed gratitude to Hon. George for the donation. He described it as timely and appealed to eligible voters to register and vote President Bio come 2023 elections.
He highlighted major and feasible developmental strides done for President Bio for the people of Moyamba, including the Mabang Bridge, Moyamba highway, the Free Quality Education and healthcare support et al.
Beneficiaries profusely showered thanks on Hon. Edward George for supporting the party structures amid hard times and implored him to continue being a blessing to his constituents.
