In a bid to complement the effort of the President Bio’s Free Quality education in the country, Hon. Robin Faley A.K.A. RF7 together with his coordinators on the ground have facilitated and embarked on a massive school feeding program on Wednesday 3rd August for the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) pupils across the Kailahun district. The school feeding took place at various BECE examinations centres in Segbwema, Kailahun town and Koidu in the far east of the country.
In Segbwema town, schools like the Holy Ghost Secondary School, Wesley Secondary School and the Ahmadiyya Secondary Schools benefited from the feeding. In Kailahun town, pupils from the town of Dodo Kotuma, Kenema and the surroundings Junior Secondary Schools benefited too whilst at the Kissi Bendu Secondary School in Koindu, Sandayalu, Kamgama, Tangabu, Dia and even from towns on the Guinea/Liberia border benefited from this great humanitarian gesture from Hon. Faley.
The principal of Wesley secondary school Segbwema, Harry Jusu in his appreciation statement, commended Hon. Faley for the outstanding support to the human capital development of the country. “Faley’s support to education is not new one, nothing that he has been consistently doing so since 2007 when he was a sitting MP representing Constituent 007 from 2007-2012. Mr. Jusu noted.
In similar line, Mr. John Bull, noted the principal of the Holy Ghost Secondary segbwema described him, “Hon. Faley as the candle that burns itself to create light for others. Hon. Faley was unique politicians who always very close to his people.” The principal of Kissi Bendu Secondary School in Koindu described him “Hon. Faley as a patriotic politician who goes beyond tribe, region, religion, and family in his drive to make difference in the lives of the poor.”
Mr. Bundor the principal noted. Mr Bundor disclosed that the pupils who were sitting the exam at his centre where travelling up to 14 miles or more to come and sit to the exams and some didn’t even have money for lunch on that day and hence a gesture of that nature from Hon. Faley was indeed a life changing event. Bundor also extended his appreciation to Ign. Fallah Kenewa Tengbeh a son of the Kissi Kingdom who collaborated with Hon. Faley to make the Koindu School feeding a huge success.
When the principal of the Methodist Secondary School Kailahun town Mr. Samuel Tengbeh commended Hon. Faley for his continued humanitarian gestures in the district and said that Hon. Faley’s support to education is indeed a fantastic boost for president Bio’s vision for the free quality education in the country. The exciting pupils who benefited from the feeding prayed for more financial blessings and good healths for Hon. Faley so that he can continue with his efforts to improve and change the lives of his people especially the poor. The excited pupils went home singing Robinho Robinho “Nar we Jangaban, Maada Bio nar we Commander en savior!
