Invitation for Bids Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority Procurement of Office Equipment and Office Furniture

The Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority has allocated funds in its 2023 budget for the procurement of Cleaning Materials and Provision and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of: 

CLEANING MATERIALS & PROVISION on Framework Basis 

Details on the above is more specified in Section VI &VII Schedule of Requirement and Technical Specifications respectively in the Bidding Document.

Bidding is open to all suppliers who can demonstrate the ability and capacity to supply the required goods within the stipulated time frame. The successful bidder(s) will be

required to sign a framework contract which will last for One Year for the goods indicated in the schedule for requirement.

 A framework contract is one in which is adopted by a purchaser:

1. Where the items are needed “On Call’’ but where the quantity and timing of the requirement cannot be defined precisely in advance; or

• To reduce lead times for items which are needed repeatedly or continuously over a period of time, by having them available on a ‘’Call Off’’ basis.

Payment under this contract shall be for actual quantity delivered using the fixed unit prices specified in your bidding document.

Bidding can be done in Lots as follows:

 LOT1: CLEANING MATERIALS

 LOT 2: PROVISION 

Interested bidders can bid for one or all of the lots at a cost of NLE.300.00 each and bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address below between 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12:00 hours on Thursday 4^th May, 2023.  

All bids must be accompanied by: 

• A valid Business registration certificate
• Bid Security of LOT 1 NLE 50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Leones)
• LOT 2 NLE.25,000.00 (Twenty-Five Thousand Leones)from a reputable Commercial Bank;
• A valid NRA tax clearance certificate;
• A valid NASSIT clearance certificate;
• A Valid Municipality/City Council Licenses
• A signed Integrity Pact;
• Financial statement for the past three years
• Evidence of similar contract performed

 Bids will be publicly opened on Thursday 4^th May, 2023 at 12:00 noon, in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below.  Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders.
