United Bank for Africa on 21 September 2022 held a roundtable discussion at the bank’s New York’s headquarters in the United States of America.
The discussion, which hosted Tony Elumelo Foundation and Google.org, is aimed at providing a platform for UBA to meet United Nations leaders and highlight the urgency of investing in African entrepreneurs to create jobs, eradicate poverty, promote gender equity as well as create economic opportunities that will aid the transformation of the continent.
As reported by UBA-SL Official Facebook page, present at the roundtable were UBA Group Chairman, Tony Elumelu, Jacqueline Fuller the President, Google.org, Nitin Gajria Managing Director, sub-Saharan Africa Google, Achim Steiner Administrator, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Shirin Pakfar, Chief of Private Partnerships and Philanthropy, and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Ms Jemimah Njuki.
