The main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) firebrand flag bearer contender, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara Esq. has last Friday 14 February 2025 celebrated Valentine’s Day with the women and people of Port Loko, North-West region.
Welcoming the gust and co-celebrant, the hosts recalled that it has been decades since a high-profile APC politician last celebrated Valentine’s Day with the people of Port Loko.
They observed that surprisingly, JFK, APC’s celebrated global legal icon and awaiting flagbearer visited Port Loko city, and understandably there’s a sense of enormous pride.
For the people of Port Loko, his visit was a golden opportunity to see, feel, and touch the man tipped to be the next flagbearer of the APC party and the ultimate president of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
From a personal standpoint, it’s a time for JFK and the people of Port Loko to build a lasting bond that will see him become the next Bai Bureh Kablai of Kasseh-Port Loko District.
Without a doubt, JFK’s visit has recalibrated the ties between his family and the people of Port Loko. Indeed, the people of Port Loko embraced him and accepted him as their son.
This was evident in the symbolic and iconic reception he received in Port Loko on Valentine’s Day. JFK’s warmth of words was deeply felt by the people who assured him of their support in the upcoming 2026 APC NDC.
His visit offered a growing sense of “confidence and trust” in the people of Port Loko. JFK’s objective for Port Loko is to make the city a ‘World Business Center.’
