Port Loko witnessed a powerful display of unity, heritage, and forward vision as the APC National Executive, the North-West Regional leadership, district stakeholders, and devoted comrades converged for the official launch and celebration of the Bai Bureh Hall Expansion and Refurbishment Project, the administrative home of the APC North-West Region and the Port Loko District Office.
The event symbolized more than the construction of a building. It marked the renewal of a legacy.
The theme “Honoring Our History, Restoring Our Past, Building Our Future” set the tone for a gathering filled with purpose and pride. Bai Bureh, a national icon of resistance and leadership, represents the courage and resilience embedded in the APC’s roots. Expanding and modernizing the hall named after him reflects the party’s resolve to restore its institutional strength and honor the sacrifices of those who came before.
JFK’s presence added significance to the occasion. Known widely as someone who blends intellectual leadership with grassroots relatability, he joined comrades not as a distant figure but as an active participant in shaping the party’s future. His engagement with party members, listening, interacting, exchanging warm greetings reinforced the message that rebuilding the party requires hands-on commitment, humility, and unity.
