According to the Head coach of United City FC, John’s arrival was a major boost for them because of the players’ wealth of experience in the international stage.

“John Bankolé Kamara’s arrival is a major boost for United City FC. With his versatility, leadership qualities, and technical prowess, he brings immense value to the team,” said Head Coach Marian.

Kamara, age 35, had previously played for Keşla and in the Greek second-tier league, making this his tenth professional club since his debut with Tadamon Sour SC in 2008.

His international career began in 2013 with Sierra Leone’s senior team, where he has earned over 20 caps. Kamara played a pivotal role in Sierra Leone’s campaign to Cameroon in 2021, participating in every match of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON.)
