Elvis said: “Koinadugu is often referred to as the “Land of Powerful Mixtures,” which offers many attractions. Our hospitality is the best in the country. Our weather is the best in the country. Koinadugu is the only place in Sierra Leone where you can find favourable weather conditions during November, December, and January. The weather is cold, and it is the only district that has experienced snow.”
Elvis said apart from its tourism potential, the district has fertile soil for farming. He says some of the best tourist sites in Sierra Leone can be found in the Koinadugu district, including Wara-Wara Mountain, Loma Mountain and Lake Sonfon.
MEET ME IN Kabala festival is a 3-day non-stop fiesta. The festival, which will start from the 30th of December 2022 to the 1st of January 2022 will have exhibitions, cultural performances, hiking, a football match, a live band performance, stand-up comedy performances, awards and nights, among other things.
