Thirty-nine year old Foday Allieu alias King Big fish a business man made his first appearance before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown on two count charges to wit carrying offensive weapon without lawful authority or reasonable excuse contrary to Section 16 (1) of the Public Order Act No.46 of 1965 and disorderly behaviour contrary to Section 12 of the Public Order Act No.46 of 1965 as amended by Section 12 (a) of Act No.15 of 1973.
According to the particulars of offence on the 10 of July 2023 at Gloucester Street in the Western Area in Freetown carrying offensive weapon in a public place to wit machetes (cutlass) without lawful authority or reasonable excuse on count two at the same place and date the accused person did behave in a disorderly manner.
According to the police charge sheet the accused person at about 10:20 hours Alusine Kpaka and others arrested and brought in the accused on the said date at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Immigration building, Gloucester Street Freetown Carrying offensive weapon.
When the charges was read and explained to the accused person he pleaded not guilty on both count charges.
The prosecution witness was present in court the accused person in an open court told the magistrate that he is a king and he must have office at the said ministry
Magistrate Mark Ngeba order that the accused person be taken to the mental home for one month he adjourned the matter to the 14 of August 2023 for further hearing Inspector Sellu Tap is prosecuting the matter.
