The Sierra Leone International football star, Kwame Quee has signed for Icelandic club Grindavík for an undisclosed fee.
The Iceland top division club has confirmed on their website that Sierra Leone professional football star Kwame Quee has joined their ranks of the club and would play with the team in the 1st division in the upcoming season.
According to report, he is the seventh player that Grindavík has acquired this season and Kwame could be a big addition for them considering his wealth of experience in the international stage.
It could be recalled that Kwame Quee was part of the Old Edwardians team in the first phase of the Sierra Leone Premier League where he was one of the top goals scorer in the league. He helped Old Edwardians to avoid relegation in the league and later bid farewell to his colleague players, coaching staffs and to the fans of the old Edwardians football club.

Enjoy the second face of the season with passion, dedication, and all stay safe. Thanks to the coaches, the management, & my colleague players,” Kwame Quee stated on his social media handles.
Kwame is not a stranger in the Iceland league. He has been there and he knows their league very well. He is well known in Iceland having previously ply his trade for Víkingur Ólafsvík, Breiðablik, and Víkingur Reykjavík. He last played in Iceland in 2021 when he became a double Icelandic Cup Champion with Víkingur in 2019 and 2021 respectively.
Kwame Quee, Q7, has played 59 games in the top division in Iceland, scoring 11 goals. He also scored 11 goals in 21 matches for Víkingur Ólafsvík in the 1st division. In total, Quee is reported to have scored 28 goals in 105 KSÍ matches from 2017.
Quee 27, has 34 caps for Sierra Leone according to Wikipedia, and has scored three goals and was a member of the Leone Stars squad that participated in the African Cup of Nations 2021 in Cameroon.
Quee played for Najran in Saudi Arabia after leaving Víkingur, then Hapoel Haifa in Israel, and now ready for another adventure in the Icelandic first division.
