As a way to gear up for the next Africa Cup of Nation, the Sierra Leone men’s Head Coach Amadu Karim has unveiled his squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations 2025 qualifiers.
Leone Stars will face Chad in Liberia on September 6th and Zambia away on September 10th to book a place in the AFCON 2025 tournament. Even though, Leone Stars is playing their home matches in Liberia, fans are encouraged to unite behind the Leone Stars and show their unwavering support to the players.
With a talented squad and a determined spirit, Sierra Leone aims to make a strong statement in their pursuit of qualification for the continental tournament.
However, one of the players that make it to the 25-man squad of Head Coach Amadu Karim is Musa Noah Kamara popular known as Musa Timbo.
The most controversial player Musa Timbo was named in the squad and there is a high expectation from the striker, Musa Tombo.
He will be a key part of the Leone Stars squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) qualifiers against Chad and Zambia respectively.
Tombo’s inclusion is a strategic move by the Leone Stars technical team, given his impressive performances domestically for Ports Authority FC.
The striker has been a consistent goal-scorer for his club, Ports Authority, and has also made significant contributions to the Leone Stars in the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
His speed, agility, and clinical finishing have made him a nightmare for defenders in the Sierra Leone premier league.
With Tombo leading the line, the Leone Stars will be a formidable force in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
His presence will not only inspire the team but also provide a much-needed goal threat for the squad. As the nation prepares to compete on the continental stage, Tombo’s inclusion is undoubtedly a positive sign for Sierra Leone football.
