Following their recent qualification to the final phase of the TotalEnergies CHAN Qualifiers Algeria 2022, the entire delegation of the Sierra Leone national home-based team (Leone Stars ‘B’) have yesterday Friday July 30th safely returned home.
Leone Stars B-Team eliminated their Cape Verdean counterparts after wining the home and away tie by an aggregate score of 3:2 to lock horns with the Eagles of Mail in the final stage of the qualifiers.
Sierra Leone shall host the Mali on the weekend of the 26, 27 and 28th August, 2022 in the first leg whiles the reversed fixture shall play in between 2, 3 and 4th September, 2022.
The winner of the two-legged tie between Leone Stars ‘B’ and the Eagles shall progress to the final tournament in Algeria, in January next year.
