Lions, United Africa Wears Announce Partnership

East End Lions Football Club and United Africa Wears today announced an official two-year Partnership agreement, bringing together a significant milestone for both parties in the promotion of football in Sierra Leone.Starting with the 2022/2023 Sierra Leone Premier League Season, United Africa Wears will become the Club’s official kits and accessories producer and with exclusive right to distribute branded merchandising products nationwide and beyond.

In a statement, EE Lion’s Secretary General Alpha M. Jalloh Esq, said: “We are tremendously proud to be establishing this partnership with one of the most exciting local kit producing companies.

The ability to connect and collaborate has never been more important in a bid to develop the game and promote the local content policy in our country.

“We are looking forward to working with United Africa Wears to bring to life our vision for a partnership built on smarter ways of connecting people and businesses.”

The CEO of United Africa Wears, Afize Mohamed, said: “We are excited to team up with East End Lions Football Club, unarguably one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Sierra Leone football.

Our partnership with EE Lions clearly underlines our leadership drive towards the promotion of football in our country and to further helps us strengthen our brand’s position in the sporting industry.

At the same time, this collaboration marks a historic turning point for us when it comes merchandising potential. We look forward to a very good working relationship throughout the duration of this partnership”.

The deal is United Africa Wear’s first major move into sports partnership in Sierra Leone and it will run for two seasons starting with the 2022/23 premier league season.
