Yesterday, Luawa FC wrapped up a four-day intensive talent identification event that showcased some of Sierra Leone’s brightest football prospects. The event featured eight promising academy players from top clubs across the country, including Luawa’s premier league team, Kallon FC, Bollum FC, Star Sports Academy, and Estates Contractors.
The event was attended by a diverse group of scouts and club owners from across Europe and Africa, including representatives from Spain, Portugal, England, Lithuania, Estonia, and South Africa. Their presence underscored the event’s significance and highlighted the growing interest in Sierra Leonean football talent on the international stage.
Throughout the four-day event, participants were given the chance to demonstrate their skills, with scouts closely observing their potential. The culmination of years of investment and hard work by Luawa FC and its partner clubs was evident as the event provided a rich pool of talented players, many of whom could soon make their mark in professional football leagues worldwide.
