Who are those Throwing Stones in A Glass House Where they are Certified Tenants?
There’s a Thin Line Between Flirting and Sexual Harrasment. Why Get it Twisted?
PART 1
Walton Gilpin should have resigned. Easily put, this is what you get when you are too good at what you do. A bank that had missed going under a few times is now financially buoyant and actually the talk of town. His crime, he has an accent, feels too good about himself and is a very attractive person. Margaret Davies cannot even practice law. She knows no law. Prepares the worst draft contracts and yet seeks a promotion with an unattractive body like hers.
New MD in town and the lawyer lady thinks she’s the deputy head of household. Everyone who came in contact with the bank then would have sworn it’s the lawyer lady that takes all the decisions. Gilpin looked like fresh boy on the block who was willing to even learn from her. Who’s this lawyer lady? Someone says she is happily married. Happily married must have another meaning. Someone who lustfully sent messages making arrangements to cheat on her husband when he goes away can by no means be a happily married person. Margaret wants Sierra Leoneans to believe that since 2017 when Gilpin assumed office, she had kept quiet and only found the CID after she was fired? Remember this is no lay person in the law. This is lawyer. Although there has never been any trace of her in any court. She has never practiced law and it’s obvious she dreads going back to the Magistrates courts and battling with people she thought she was way above.
Ladies who feel the gullible public will side with them whenever they scream sexual harassment should think again. Sexual harassment isn’t rape. Not that it is acceptable. They won’t tell people that. Sexual harassment are unwarranted advances made by one person on another. They are unwelcome gestures in spoken words or actions. What the ladies won’t tell you is that there is a thin line between sexual harassment and flirting. The ladies who would want contracts, promotions or money from men won’t see their actions as wrong. We have a society where ladies feel everything from men should come as a given because of their gender. And when things don’t work for them, they cry foul.
