Freetown, Sierra Leone, Ibrahim Suma a motor apprentice on Monday, 7th October, 2024, made his second appearance for the continuation of his trial before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba Road Court No2 on two counts charges of conspiracy to commit a crime contrary to law and Larceny Contrary to section 17(1a) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence: that you Ibrahim Suma on Sunday the of 1st September, 2024, at Queen Elizabeth 11 quay Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a crime to wit larceny by servant.
Counts two further stated that the accused person on the same date and place did steal 810 bags of imported cement all to the total valued of NLe 125,550/00 property of his employer Zak Building materials.
When the charges was read and explained to the accused person he pleaded not guilty.
The Defense Council appealed for bail as the accused person has four dependent while bail is at your discretion and the accused has reliable sureties and will not interfere with the matter.
For the meantime, Magistrate Bangura refused bail because of the weight of the matter and the case has been adjourned to the 14th of October, 2024.
