Masiaka, Sierra Leone — Friday, 31st October 2025:
The Masiaka Police Division has intensified its ongoing operations against the abuse and trafficking of narcotic drugs, leading to multiple arrests and court charges within the past week.
According to police sources, several individuals were apprehended for unlawful possession of suspected narcotic substances during targeted operations across the division.
Among those charged to court are:
Sulaiman Kargbo of Mammah village;
Ibrahim Coker, Richard Coker, and Amara Bangura, all residents of Masiaka Town, who were arrested on 27th October 2025 with a large quantity of substances believed to be Kush;
Alhaji Mamoud Leigh, who was arrested at Mile 38 checkpoint on 24th October 2025 with 48 packets of suspected Tramadol;
Umaru Kamara, commonly known as Gabon; and
Foday Mansaray, arrested with suspected Cannabis Sativa.
All suspects have been committed to the High Court by Magistrate Harold Kamara for further trial.
The Masiaka Police Division reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining the nationwide fight against drug abuse and maintaining peace and public safety within the community.
