Sierra Leone Police Football Club edged the host Albitaya Queens FC sitting in the eleventh position 1-0 at Kabala field on Saturday, the 25th of February 2023 to continue their impressive form in the second round of the Sierra Leone Women’s top-tier league.

Abibatu D. Bangura who plays as an attacking midfielder lone strike in the first half that snatches all-three points for SL Police FC and earned them five consecutive wins in the second round has moved to the 3rd position with 32 points in sixteen matches played.

Bangura started her football career less than a decade in 2014 with Future Queens in Port Loko and with good dribbling skills, she quickly gained confidence and established herself, and has represented the various categories of the national female side including the Under-17, Under-20 and the senior category Sierra Queens not limited to the first-ever WAFU Zone A Women’s Tournament in 2020 hosted in Sierra Leone.
