The Ministry of Lands, Housing and Country Planning has in a press release warned citizens who have unlawfully occupied the property of NASSIT/ Regimanuel Gray at Grafton, Western Area without the appropriate procedures and permission.
According to the press release, the Ministry wished to unequivocally inform the general public that such acts are grossly illegal and unacceptable, adding that all individuals who had trespassed on the aforementioned property are hereby requested in their own interest, to vacate with immediate effect, and in any case not later than 29th February 2024.

It furthered stated that all persons who had erected shops and/or other structure on the right-of-way in the Grafton vicinity are hereby requested to submit all relevant documents granting them the right to undertake such construction to the office of the Senior Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Country Planning between the 6th and 9th February 2024 and noted that defaulters would bear the full consequences of their actions.
The release admitted that, the notice would serves as a final warning to all concerned parties, adding that failure to comply with the above directives would result in appreciate enforcement actions being taken against the offenders.
