The Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Kenyeh Barlay has informed a battery of journalists at the Government Weekly Press Briefing about the recent activities of her ministry. Among the many activities, she informed journalists about the launch of the new National Development Plan.
According to the minister, the National Development Plan seeks to purposely the lives of Sierra Leoneans. She said: “This plan is for the people of Sierra Leone…to improve the lives of Sierra Leoneans. The target of this plan is for seven years…2024 to 2030.
The will surely serve as a room to improve all MDAs…to provide strategic direction to the state and coordinate national development policy towards effective and sustainable socioeconomic transformation and development of Sierra Leone…”
