Twenty-three years old Aminata Kargbo a Student and forty-three years old Hawanatu Kargbo a business woman made their first appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba road court No.2 in Freetown on two count charges ranging from Assault occaisioning actual bodily harm contrary to section 47 of the offences against the person Act 1861.

According to the particulars of offence on Saturday 17th February 2024 at 34 Smart Farm off Wilkinson road the western area in Freetown assaulted Mohamed Sannoh Marrah in a manner thereby occaisioning him actual bodily harm on count two on the above date and place the accused persons assaulted Kadiatu Lovetta Kamara in a manner thereby occaisioning her actual bodily harm.When the charge was read and explained to the accused person they pleaded not guilty

Counsel representing the accused persons A.R Kamara applied for bail for and on behalf of the accused person that they are not Sierra Leoneans resident within this jurisdiction that they have reliable sureties who are willing and ready to go into recognisance on their behalf they will not interfere with prosecution witness or witnesses nor will they jump bail.

Meanwhile Magistrate Bangura granted the accused persons bail in the sum of

three Thousand Leones with one surety each in like sum sureties to produce valid identity card depicting his or her address in Freetown bail to be approved by the Deputy assistant Registrar Matter adjourned to the 28th March 2024.
