As part of his continuous support to less opportune people in the country, the wife of one of the leading All People’s Congress (APC) flag bearer candidates, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, Madam Elizabeth Massah Kamara last Thursday 15th December 2022, donated assorted food items worth millions of Leones patients at the Melton Margai School for Blind, the National School for the Deaf and King Georges Old People’s Home at Grafton in Western Rural District.
Welcoming Mrs Kamara at the four communities, beneficiaries thanked her and expressed their profound delights for the concerns shown for them.
They at the separate places extended thanks and appreciations Mrs Kamara and team for thinking of them and making such a huge donations to them as a society they will assured that they will ensure that the donated food items put in good use.
These donated food material includes bags of rice, cartons of chicken, bag of onion, gallons of oil, bundles of water and parcels to each of the beneficiary at the various places Mrs Kamara visited.
Handing over the food items, to them at separate locations she visited, Mrs. Kamara applauded heads of all the institution visited for the initiative of providing care and support for children born blind and deaf. She added that such a move by the people that taking care is indeed a laudable one for which they should be commended.
She admonished parents and guardians to consider children born blind and deaf as very important in society regardless of their current situation.
Madam Luccy Samura Kamara, the daughter of Dr and Mrs. Samura Kamara expressed delight to hand over the assorted food items to all beneficiaries they visited.
