The newly hired staff members of the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) have been honoured by their Commissioner, Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina. As you may remember, NaCSA is well into the process of putting its inclusive, people-centred rebranding strategy—also known as Ndomahinalization—into practice.

Having aligned with the national development framework, the rebranding strategy speaks to strengthening systems, processes and procedures that enhance effective and efficient implementation of projects. In his welcome note, Amb. Ndomahina noted that the Commission has been restructured to deliver its mandate, especially in line with the aspirations of the Big Five Game Changers. ‘’I want to welcome you to the Commission and urge you to be part of the rebranding strategy. We are in a hurry to deliver community service including social protection interventions, constructing and reconstructing community infrastructures, promoting community-based demand-driven and sustainable development activities, and improving the speed, quality and impact of development initiatives.’’ He noted.

Sylvester Demby, the Director of Admin and Human Resources (DAHR) cautioned the new staff to follow internal guidelines and directives from their supervisors. He noted that the Commissioner has provided a conducive working environment for staff to deliver. ‘’… it is unprecedented for the head of an entity to personally present a symbol of honour to junior staff. He informed them that the doors of senior management are always open for any clarification and support where needed.’’  He noted.

The meeting ended with a sign of appreciation from the community Development Assistants and Community Based Facilitators.
