My dear compatriots, fellow members of the All People’s Congress, and members and supporters of the DIB Movement at home and across the diaspora,
As we welcome the New Year, I extend warm greetings of hope, love and renewed determination to you all. The year gone by tested our resolve as a nation and as a party, but it also reaffirmed our shared belief that Sierra Leone deserves leadership anchored in integrity, competence, and genuine service to the people.
As a proud member of the APC and a flagbearer aspirant, I remain firmly committed to the values upon which our great party was founded – unity, discipline, internal democracy, and national development. In the year ahead, we must rise above division, strengthen party cohesion, and through our conduct, demonstrate that the APC remains the true vehicle for progressive governance.
This New Year calls on us to organise more effectively, engage our communities more respectfully, empower our youth, and elevate women as equal partners in shaping our political future. Our politics must inspire hope, not fear; solutions, not slogans; and unity, not discord.
To our brothers and sisters in the diaspora, your unwavering support, advocacy, and ideas continue to enrich our movement and strengthen our national cause. You remain an indispensable force in the journey toward a better Sierra Leone.
Let us move forward with clarity of purpose, discipline in action, and faith in our collective destiny. Together, through the DIB Movement and the APC, we will work toward a Sierra Leone that is peaceful, inclusive, and prosperous for all.
May our efforts in 2026 bring peace and national cohesion to our nation, strength to our party, and renewed hope to our people.
Happy New Year.
Dr. Ibrahim Bangura

APC Flagbearer Aspirant
