The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) regrets to announce the death of veteran journalist, Christo Johnson; aged 79. Christo Johnson was a founding member of SLAJ. He was also a former Commissioner of the IMC, Head of the Veteran Journalists Union (VEJU), retired Reuters News Agency correspondent and former stringer for the Spanish News Agency (EFE), Press Trust of India, United Press International (UPI), BBC, CNN and ‘The Independent Newspaper’ of London.
