One of the leading telecommunications networks, Orange Sierra Leone has last Thursday 13th October 2022, launched its 538-commercial site with the aim of providing accessible and affordable communication service to its customer at Mile 91, Tonkolili district. Speaking during the unveiling of the sites Regional Commercial Manager, Orange SL, Augustus Bendu, reaffirmed that the launch of the site will create easy access to communication for Orange SL subscribers in Mile 91.
He encouraged the community to take full ownership of the site saying that the facilities do not belong to Orange-SL but a property of the people of Mile 91. He implored them to jealously guard the sites as theirs.
The Local Unit Commander of Mile 91 Tity Lansana spoke of poor communication between the police and the people, and expressed profound delight at Orange-SL for fixing all the flaws of communication in Mile 91, noting that Orange-SL rely on the police. She vowed that they will ensure that personnel are safe during their stay in the town.
Hon. Aaron Koroma, of Constituency 048 said Orange-SL is the only mobile company in Yonnie that does not co-locate like others. He said other companies, never succeeded in erecting points; except Orange-SL. He thanked Orange SL graciously for living up to the expectations.
