In a bid to improve strong bilateral relationship between the club and the players’ parents, HADA FC has recently donated over fifty bags of rice to each players’ parent.
The donated items were handed over to them at the Sierra Leone Football Association Academy, Kingtom, Freetown, where over one hundred parents gathered with joy as they celebrated the humanitarian gesture rendered to them by the club.
Giving out the donated items, the clubs General Manager King David Kargbo informed the gathering that the club has doled out Thirty Million Old Leones to purchase this rice.
According to him the purpose of the donation is to encourage parents to do more in providing leadership to their kids.
He thanked the SLFA, WAFA and other associations for supporting their children to reach their potentials.
Kargbo said that their club sponsored will be in town to assess their performance of the club in terms of providing support to players, adding that the club sponsored will construct another club house. He said the new club house will be opened 6 of May 2023.
Chairman of the Parent Association Ibrahim Turay expressed delight for the humanitarian assistance provided by the club.
He said as parents, it’s their responsibility to prevent these kids from any consumption of harmful drugs and the involvement of peer group influence. HADA family has been supportive to us with scholarships and football equipment for our boys, he said.
