Abdul Sulaiman Marray-Conteh presented the Report of the said Committee regarding effective scrutiny and certain amendments to be adopted by Parliament before the passage of the Bill into law.

The Minister of Labour and Social Security, Alpha Timbo Esq. piloted the Bill.

Just after the enactment of the Bill into law, the Minister congratulated Parliament on behalf of the President for what he described “as tedious work done by the Legislative Arm of Government”, and went further to acknowledge the role of Parliament in the development of the State.
