High court Judge Adrian Fisher on Friday 7 October 2022 told defence lawyer Jesse Jengo to file his submission to the counsel representing APC before 12 October 2022 and also gave directives to Lawyer Africanus Sesay to reply to lawyer Jengo’s submission on Thursday 13 October.
Justice Fisher told both lawyers that after filing their respective submissions they should send the submissions to him by email.
Jengo told the court that lawyers representing the APC party have served him with their application on issues of contempt but have issue with the appointment of the solicitors.
He stated that on 12 October he would definitely file his written submission and affidavit in opposition to the application served him by the plaintiff’s lawyer.
In response, Lawyer Africanus Sesay stated that if lawyer Jengo served them with his submission on Wednesday 12 October 2022, they would reply to his submission on 13 October 2022.
Justice Fisher adjourned the matter till Thursday 17 October 2022.
