Cross section of the Power Women232 executives paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director/CEO of UBA Sierra Leone, Mohamed Alhajie Samoura, as part of their celebrations marking over eleven years of impactful community service.
During the visit, the team shared the organisation’s journey since its inception, highlighting key initiatives such as career training programs for young women, the annual PowerFest Seminars, reproductive health and hygiene sensitization, and other empowerment activities.
Fatmata Foster, President-Elect, who led the delegation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to UBA Sierra Leone for its continuous support over the years, describing the bank as one of their most reliable partners in social impact initiatives.
She formally extended an invitation to the bank to attend their upcoming brunch event, aimed at raising funds to support vulnerable women and girls.
In his response, Mohamed Alhajie Samoura, Managing Director/CEO of UBA Sierra Leone, thanked the team for their visit and praised their consistency and commitment to women’s development.
He reaffirmed UBA Sierra Leone’s dedication to supporting initiatives that align with the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility pillars, particularly in education, empowerment, and community development.
