The council recognizes the vital role journalists play in fostering transparency, democracy, and development and stands in solidarity with SLAJ in advocating for justice.
As a council, we remain committed to making the Western Area Rural District a safe and secure place for all. We urge the SLP to continue their diligent efforts and ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous crime face the full force of the law.
WARDC calls on all stakeholders to work together to promote a culture of peace and respect for the rule of law in our district and across Sierra Leone.
Together, we can build a safer and more just society.
