QCell, one of Sierra Leone’s leading telecommunications companies, has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation and customer convenience with the launch of its new credit loan service called Tros Mi Top-Up. The service allows customers to borrow up to Le20 instantly whenever they run out of airtime, ensuring that they stay connected at all times.

In a statement from the company, QCell said the introduction of Tros Mi Top-Up is part of its ongoing efforts to make communication easier and more accessible for everyone in Sierra Leone. The service is designed to help subscribers handle emergencies, make important calls, or stay in touch with loved ones even when they don’t have immediate access to credit.

According to the company, the process is simple, fast, and user-friendly. Customers who wish to access the service only need to dial *393#, select their preferred loan amount, and continue their conversation without any interruption. The borrowed amount will be automatically deducted from their next recharge, making the process seamless and hassle-free.

“This service is about empowerment and convenience,” a QCell representative explained. “We understand that sometimes, our customers run out of credit at critical moments, whether during a business call, while checking on family, or when chatting with friends. With Tros Mi Top-Up, no one has to worry about being cut off from the people and things that matter most.”

The initiative has been met with positive reactions from QCell subscribers, many of whom have praised the company for introducing a service that meets real everyday needs. For many Sierra Leoneans, mobile communication is not just a tool for social connection but a vital resource for business, education, and emergency communication.

“I think it’s a great idea,” said a QCell customer in Freetown. “Sometimes, I run out of credit late at night or when I don’t have access to a vendor. With this new service, I can still make that important call or send an urgent message without stress.”

Telecommunications analysts have noted that services like Tros Mi Top-Up are becoming increasingly important in developing markets, where mobile phones are central to both personal and professional life. By offering small, quick, and reliable credit advances, companies like QCell are enhancing customer loyalty and expanding financial inclusion through mobile services.

QCell’s management has emphasized that the new feature is one of many customer-focused initiatives the company plans to introduce as it continues to strengthen its position in the Sierra Leonean market. Over the years, QCell has built a reputation for offering affordable data and voice services, along with reliable network coverage across the country.

“With Tros Mi Top-Up, we are giving our customers the power to stay connected no matter the situation,” the company added. “It’s another step in our mission to make communication easier, faster, and more reliable for everyone.”

As the telecommunications landscape in Sierra Leone continues to evolve, QCell’s new offering is expected to further enhance competition and improve customer experience across the sector, proving once again that innovation remains at the heart of the company’s growth strategy.
