The Sierra Leone Commission on Arms and Ammmunition has informed the general public that for the demolition of ammunition in Kambia and in Benguema axes. According to the commission’s press release: “The public in Kambia and Waterloo axes are hereby informed that the Sierra Leone Commission on Arms and Ammunition in collaboration with the republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces will undertake demolition exercise of unserviceable high explosives and incineration of small arms ammunition in Kambia and the Armed Forces Training Center in Benguema…from 16th to 22nd November, 2023…”
The commission went further to encourage the general public residing in Kambia, Benguema and their environs to be calm and to go about their normal activities as their safety is of utmost concern to the commission.
