Former Vice President Alhaji Abu Bakarr Sadique Sam Sumana has Wednesday 9th December, 2020 called on party supporters, stalwarts and communities at Constituency 110 in the Western Rural District to vote solidly for the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) candidate in the rerun election slated for Saturday 12th December. He made the call whiles addressing a well-attended meeting of APC supporters at the Kent Community Centre in the rural district.

He described Kent as a very important community in the constituency where the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) is unable to win election fairly except through violent and fraud.

Chief Sam Sumana said no matter what the SLPP doing now for the people of Constituency 110, they will not be easily fooled by fake and bogus micro credit and scholarships promises to vote the SLPP.

He said the people have already prepared their minds to cast their votes solidly for Hon. Kadie Davies as their new MP for 110 Constituency come December 12th.

The former Vice President encouraged the people not to allow themselves be fooled with misguided hopes, adding that the 2018 riggings will be exposed in Saturday’s election and in the coming 2023 election.

This, he said must start come in 12th December, 2020 rerun election at Constituency 110, hence further implored all to vote the APC candidate, Hon. Kadi Davies.

Former Mayor of Freetown, Franklyn Bode Gibson recalled that Hon. Kadi Davies won the April 2028 election at Constituency 110 but her seat was taken away from her by the government. He therefore encouraged constituents not to allow their candidate to deprive for the third time of representing them in Parliament.

Constituents after the other including women and youth at the Kent Community Centre informed former Vice President Sam Sumana that the ruling SLPP has not taken any development programme to their communities since it came to power on 4th April, 2018, pointing out that their constituency is stalled where the APC stopped.

Speaking on behalf of Kent women, Madam Cordelia Dauphin implored all to vote Hon. Kadi Davies. She said Hon. Davies is the right candidate to represent Constituency 110 in the House of Parliament.

At Kallon Field, Angola Town, APC heavyweights including Dr Kaifala Marah, Hon. Alimamy Petito Koroma, Dr Richard Konteh and Hon. Ibrahim Kemoh Sesay all made similar statements regarding the bogus micro credit scheme promises being made by the SLPP. They said if such promises were meant to go by then the government should have started it from where they are much needed.

They reiterated that constituents should not allow their votes to be stole this time around by the SLPP, adding that the seat at Constituency 110 has been won twice by Hon. Kadi Davies but she was not allow to serve her people, due to the SLPP hate politics.

On behalf of illegally removed APC Members of Parliament, Hon. Sirajin Rollings Kamara made a fried statement, encouraging all to vote the APC candidate Hon. Davies whom he said is the best choice to represent the people of Constituency 110.
