The Leader and presidential candidate of the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) has emphasized the need for unity in the party and the country, saying; “Kono is important to Sierra Leone as a country.”
Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara informed that he continues to extend olive branch to everyone within the APC, especially those that have similar visions to redeem the people of Sierra Leone.
He called on Sierra Leoneans to talk to Kono stakeholders including former Vice President, Alhaji Chief Samsuma, Finda Diana Konomanyi, Karamoh Kabbah among others, saying failures of the state should not use Kono as a pun game.
Dr. Kamara said the project to deliver Sierra Leone requires collective hands, asking who doesn’t know the importance of Kono?
He said he will take the lead to redeem the people of Sierra Leone and that all should have faith in God.
The APC leader joined his running mate, Deputy leader of the APC, Chernor Ramadan Maju Bah, to launch the campaign in Bombali. Dr. Kamara said the APC will win June 24th, 2023, elections hands down as against a failed regime which is arrogant in failure.
He also said the APC is still encouraging EC-SL to fix the horrible voter’s register.
