The 2018 presidential candidate of the opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) party, Dr Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara, has signed the book of condolence at the residence of the British High Commissioner, Her Excellency Lisa Chesney, on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Il (EllR).

After signing, Dr Samura Kamara said: “This is a difficult time for the entire Royal Family of the UK and the Commonwealth.”

He noted that the late Queen Elizabeth was a kind, patient and humble leader who embodied the culture, innovation and tolerance of Britain and the Commonwealth.

“The late Queen Elizabeth II will always be in our thoughts and prayers. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” Dr Kamara said.

He also seized the opportunity to extend his “warmest congratulations to the new King – Charles Ill, on his ascension to the throne, wishing him good health, happiness and every success. “Long live our gracious King,” the APC leading light said.
