One of Sierra Leone’s most celebrated entertainers, Sara De Great, has publicly expressed admiration and appreciation for Dr Ibrahim Bangura, praising his conduct and leadership following the recently concluded lower level elections of the All People’s Congress.

Speaking on recent political developments, King Sara De Great said the post election period was marked by controversy and heightened emotions among party supporters. However, he noted that Dr Ibrahim Bangura distinguished himself by calling on party members to put the APC first and focus on the bigger goal of winning future elections. According to the entertainer, such a message demonstrated maturity, respect, and a deep commitment to the party’s progress.

Sara said that at a time when divisions could easily weaken the party, Dr Bangura’s appeal for calm and unity stood out as an example of responsible leadership. He described the call as timely and necessary, stressing that it sent a strong signal to supporters across the country that unity must prevail over personal interests.

The entertainer, popularly known as Mama Salone’s most celebrated performer, said leadership is not only about ambition but also about the ability to prioritize collective success. He noted that Dr Bangura’s posture after the elections showed determination to see the APC emerge stronger rather than fractured.

King Sara De Great also urged party supporters to show respect to Dr Bangura for his stance, saying leaders who promote peace and unity deserve encouragement. He called on all APC members, commonly referred to as APCians, to rally together and avoid actions that could undermine the party’s chances in future national contests.

According to Sara, the road to the 2028 general elections requires discipline, tolerance, and mutual respect among party stakeholders. He emphasized that internal divisions could cost the party dearly, while unity would strengthen its appeal to voters across Sierra Leone.

He further appealed to APC members to elect a candidate who has the capacity to win national elections and deliver results for the people. Sara said the focus should be on choosing leadership that inspires confidence, attracts broad support, and can effectively challenge political opponents at the polls.

The entertainer’s comments have attracted attention, reflecting the growing involvement of public figures in national political discourse. Observers say endorsements and calls for unity from influential voices in entertainment can shape public opinion, especially among young supporters.

As the APC continues its internal processes, calls for cohesion have become more frequent from party elders, officials, and supporters. King Sara De Great’s message aligns with these appeals, reinforcing the need for solidarity as the party prepares for the future.

With the 2028 elections on the horizon, many within the APC see unity as a decisive factor. For King Sara De Great, the message is clear: putting the party first and supporting leaders who promote peace and determination remains the surest path toward electoral victory and national progress.
