School children lost their lives and many were injured in a stampede yesterday as the Bo Stadium’s railings collapsed but Fatima Bio said ‘All Fine’.

Claims of using the school children as a human sacrifice by the First Lady Fatima Jabbe Bio and her husband President Julius Maada Bio have been bandied around. “The Bios surely want the blood of school girls for Juju purposes to win the 2023 elections,” residents of Bo told the Organiser newspaper last night. The Stadium accident happened when First Lady Fatima Jabbe Bio was distributing sanitary pads to the school girls who were forced to leave their classrooms around Bo District to go to the Bo Stadium yesterday. Sources say the school heads were threatened to make sure all the girls must attend the sanitary pad distribution, otherwise, they would face dire consequences. Never has that happened where school children are forcefully removed from their classes to attend such unnecessary things as the distribution of sanitary pads that every parent can afford for their children. It was a horrific scene as wailing school children and their parents scrambled for survival as the hand-railing in the Stadium gave way leaving hundreds of the school girls falling into the pitch over 12 feet below. The heavy iron railing fell on the children as they fell to the ground below. Eyewitnesses saw children badly wounded with the metallic railing piercing their tiny bodies leaving serious injuries and some dead. Yet, the First Lady Fatima Jabbe Bio had the audacity to say everything went well yesterday. What a load of rubbish from Fatima Bio! Speaking on social media, Fatima Bio did not show sympathise or empathise with the wounded but instead boasted that her distribution of sanitary pads was successful. She said about 10,000 sanitary pads were distributed at the Bo Stadium. It was shocking for Fatima Jabbe Bio to fail to recognise the seriousness of the pandemonium that left dozens of school children injured and perished. All the wounded were rushed to the Government Hospital in Bo and sources say the hospital was overwhelmed with the injured. Yet, the First Lady Fatima Jabbe Bio boasted that everything went well. How dare you say such an insulting and dehumanising statement live on social media. What an insult to the people of Sierra Leone who were shocked at what occurred at the Stadium only to hear the most useless First Lady say everything went well. What does she mean ‘Everything went well’? It is confirmed that thousands of schoolchildren were forced by the SLPP government to attend the Bo Stadium to witness the distribution of sanitary pads. There are competent reports that Fatima Bio and her hopeless husband Maada Bio had used the occasion to sacrifice the blood of innocent school girls for political purposes. Amid the terrible calamity, the government officials downplayed the seriousness of the stampede and did not even mention that dozens were injured let alone mention the fatalities. “Everybody got her voucher right? Ok,” Fatima Jabbe Bio could be heard on the loudspeaker reverberating around the Stadium asking whether everyone has received her voucher meaning sanitary pads. Fatima said these words while dozens of school children had died and many were seriously injured and on the way to hospitals. Fatima was more concerned about her sanitary pads distribution than the conditions of the school children. It was very pathetic to hear the so-called First Lady who was supposed to show compassion in times of stress and disaster, asking if everyone has received their vouchers. How inconsiderate one could be during such life-and-death pandemonium? It is clear that her ‘Hands Off Our Girls’ campaign is a money-making entity for Fatima Bio to exploit local and foreign financial sponsors.
Fatima Jabbe Bio’s primary motive for the gathering yesterday at the Bo Stadium was for spiritual purposes i.e. to use the innocent and unsuspecting school girls as sacrifices for her husband President Maada Bio’s retention of power come June 24, 2023, presidential and general elections. From the look of things, it was a bad omen for the corrupt ruling SLPP regime of President Julius Maada Bio. Yesterday, in Bo City southern Sierra Leone, President Bio saw firsthand how dozens of school children perished with serious wounds and many died in the stampede that emanated from the collapse of one side of the stadium railings. Eyewitnesses saw the railing giving way as the pupils who had leaned on it for support fell over 10 feet below. There was pandemonium in the Stadium as the baffled SLPP government ministers watched in horror unable to do anything in the process. The First Lady Fatima Jabbe Bio who was there to dish out cheap sanitary pads to school girls was left unperturbed as she was more interested in how many had received her sanitary pads than the fatalities and injured that took place. Social Media was bombarded with terrible pictures and horrific videos showing the ghastly scenes in the Stadium. One part of the Stadium where the railing collapsed was completely deserted as police and rescuers battled to save the injured. Police Pick-Up vans were seen transporting the wounded to various hospitals in Bo. Political observers say this is a bad omen for the President who has clearly failed the nation since 2018. Sierra Leoneans believe such calamity is a bad sign for the SLPP regime and the President as the crucial 2023 elections come closer. Eyewitnesses say it was deceptive of the government officials present and the SLPP police to prevent the people from recording what transpired yesterday. However, the restriction did not stop the people from recording the incident. What was the government hiding? It was clear the Bio presidency did not want the world to see the disaster. This evil SLPP could not even stop the distribution of the pads when the railings collapsed. Rather, they continued the distribution totally ignoring the fatal accident. This Bio regime is wicked. Meanwhile, the people of Sierra Leone want more transparency and accountability for what happened at the Bo Stadium yesterday. How many casualties and injuries and why did the hand-railings collapse? Investigations continue. Despite the seriousness of the disaster, the SLPP government made a brief statement to downplay the fatal incident. It reads thus –

Date: 2nd February 2023 – On Thursday 2nd February 2023, His Excellency, President Julius Maada Bio, successfully launched the 2023 Free Sanitary Pads Distribution at the Bo Stadium, Bo City. The formal launch was marred by an accident involving school children when a short section of metal guardrail on one of the levels of the stadium came apart. The affected children were immediately transported to the Bo Government Hospital for free medical care, accompanied by Dr. Austin Demby, Minister of Health and Sanitation.
