The Sierra Leone Dodgeball Association (SLDBA) is proud to announce the departure of Deputy Head Coach Ibrahim Sheriff Savage and Technical Director Sallu Keita Kabba on a mission to support Senegal and The Gambia national dodgeball teams ahead of the World Dodgeball Championship in Austria.

“I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with the Senegalese and Gambian teams as they prepare for the World Championship,” said Deputy Coach Savage.

“This is a great opportunity to strengthen our relationships with our fellow West African nations through sports.”

SLDBA President Abdul Kassim Tejan, who also serves as the Vice President of the African Dodgeball Federation, emphasized the importance of this initiative.

“Supporting Senegal and The Gambia aligns perfectly with our commitment to fostering strong bilateral ties within the region,” he said.

“As we approach the culmination of the World Championship, I’m filled with pride to contribute to the advancement of dodgeball across Africa.”

This deployment of technical expertise from Sierra Leone demonstrates the country’s growing influence in the international dodgeball scene.

The SLDBA’s commitment to regional sports development is a positive step towards a more unified and competitive African dodgeball presence on the global stage.
