Sierra Leone is mourning the death of Ngor Gbetuwa, a well-known and beloved culture singer who passed away at the age of 62. Gbetuwa was famous for his smash hit “Amuyamamuye,” which has been a cultural touchstone in Sierra Leone for decades.

Gbetuwa was a talented artist who captured the heart of the Sierra Leonean people with his music. His songs spoke to the struggles and triumphs of everyday life in the country, and his lyrics resonated with audiences across the country.
