The Sierra Leone National U20 team, the Shooting Stars secured a fantastic win in their second group match at the ongoing WAFU Zone A Championship (AFCON Qualifiers) in Monrovia, Liberia!

With 4 points now on the board, following a strong draw against Guinea in the opener, the team is showing great promise. Special congratulations to the Captain, Momoh I. Kamara, who was once again awarded the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance

He delivered a standout performance, scoring two impressive goals against Liberia in the WAFU U-20 tournament. The 19-year-old footballer currently plays as a midfielder for Leixões SC U23 in Portugal’s Segunda Liga.

The Portugal based young midfielder was formerly with Kono-based side Diamond STARS FC in the Sierra Leone Premier League.

In the ongoing WAFU A Championship in Liberia, Momoh I Kamara has already captured two Man of the Match awards in his last two outings against neighbouring Guinea and Liberia, and registering two exquisite goals proving among the few top midfielders in the ongoing U-20 championship.
