A British citizen whose parents are from Sierra Leone has signed his first professional contract for Manchester United.
Jaydan Kamason age 16 who is a graduate from the Emerging Talent Programme (ETP) became the first player from scheme to sign a senior contract with Man United.
Kamason who is a versatile defender has been from the ranks of the ETP academic in the last five years before doing this remarkable step in his career in football.
According to Kamason on his social media handle; he glad to get his professional contract with one of the biggest clubs in the world, and he noted that he is truly blessed and he is looking forward to more contract in the future.
‘I am proud to have signed my first pro contract with this massive club. I am truly blessed. Thankful, towards my family for the continued support and those who have helped me throughout my journey,’ he said.
Kamason has an option to play for Sierra Leone or England in his international career. The big question now is whether Kamason will choose Sierra Leone over England in the international world.
