Following an intensive round of 32 of this year’s FA Cup, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) FA Cup tournament has reached it round of 16 stage and all is set to battle for a spot in the Quarter Final stage. According to the round of 16 fixtures, Port Authority, the team that eliminated Benn HIRSCH FC by a goal to nil in the round of 32 will luck hons with the Giant of the South Bo Rangers in the round of 16.
Real Republicans that defeated Lamboi FC by two goals to nil in the round of 32 will host FC Kallon that thrash Ashley FC by 7 goals to nil in the round of 32. Old Edwardians will battle with Francess FC for a shot in the Quarter Final, while Mighty Blackpool will clash with East End Lions and this is the the fixture that many say it’s the fixture to watch in the round of 16 ties.
Moreover, Diamond Stars from Kono will battle it out with Bullom Stars from Port Loko, a Division one team that eliminated Kambio Eagles and upon their return they had an accident that led to the death of one of their young star player known as Foday Kargbo. In addition, Freetownians SLFIA will host Kholifa Stars in a fascinating encounter. Also, Wusum Stars from Makeni will host Freetown City Football Club.
Moreover, Wilberforce Strikers that defeated Tiger at the Parade ground by three goals to nil will host Luawa FC in their encounter. All the round of 16 matches will be played within the 7th/8th of February 2024 and all roads lead to the various Fields in the Country.
