The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) and the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) on Monday 19 June 2023 conducted a joint regional security patrol in the East of Freetown.
The conducted tour was led by the Regional Commander Freetown East, Assistance Commissioner of Police, John Senesis, Director of Operations, Assistant Inspector General, Brima Jah and Brigadier-General Bockarie respectively.
According to report, the team moved from the Regional Headquarters, Ross Road with what was described as a unique convoy formation pattern along the Bai Bureh Road with few stops at strategic points.
The conducted security patrol was also geared towards meeting personals deployed on the spots and advise them to maintain law and order.
In Waterloo, the report continued, the team conducted an in-depth territorial patrol within suburbs communities.
According to report, many citizens were appreciative of the joint military exercise, especially when the time clocks to voting day.
