Sports Ambassador Charles Jr. Bio, along with former Leone Stars’ players Coach John Agina Sesay and Daniel Sesay, on Friday 19th April, 2024 paid a special courtesy call on the Minister of Sports, Madam Augusta James-Teima, at her Bishop House office in Freetown. Madam Minister warmly welcomed them and expressed her gratitude for their timely visit.

Coach John Agina Sesay and Daniel Sesay congratulated Madam Minister on her historic appointment as Sierra Leone’s first Female Minister of Sports and offered prayers for her wisdom and protection in her new role. They pledged to collaborate with her during her tenure in office to advance the development of sports in the nation, both domestically and internationally.

During their meeting, they engaged in discussions on critical matters pertaining to the advancement of football in the country. In response, Madam Minister thanked them for their valuable ideas, suggestions, and contributions towards football development, a sport cherished by President H.E JMB and the youth of Sierra Leone.

She emphasized the importance of teamwork and unity in achieving success in sports, expressing her openness to positive discussions aimed at advancing the nation’s sporting agenda.

“I appreciate your visit and thank you for your commitment to the development of sports in Sierra Leone. My doors are always open for constructive dialogue,” she concluded.
